In 1981, they moved to Montana and lived in the North Fork wilderness for 14 years. She moved back to Florida in 2007, and lived at Accordia Woods Assisted Living from 2008 until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her brother, Benjamin C. Shaffer her sister, Betty Shaffer; infant daughter, Cheryl Rygiel; and nephew, Benjamin D. Shaffer. She is survived by one son, John Rygiel Jr. of St.

2, 2013, at the age of 81. He was born in Willimantic on July 9, 1932 and grew up in Mansfield Depot, later moving to a An. family-built fieldstone house in Storrs. He was the NN-gr''' son of Arthur J. and Clara I.

(Hernberg) Caisse. Frank attended Windham High School and University of Connecticut and served in the US Air Force. Frank worked for 33 years for the University of Connecticut Controller's Office as an accountant in Budds Building, retiring in 1987. After his retirement, he worked part time in the Map Room ran a food truck. He was an active member of Mansfield Grange 64.

In his younger days, Frank was an excellent skier, serving on the ski patrol and also sang with the Bill Savitt Barbershop Quartet. Frank enjoyed singing in church and sang in several church choirs. He was always well-stocked with green olives for his dry martinis. After moving to Florida in 1992, Frank was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church of Pinellas Park, and was a volunteer at the Church school and Meals on Wheels. He was a member of the Society of St.

Vincent DePaul, the Knights of Columbus, and was very active in his community. Frank was predeceased by his parents; and his sister, Rita Masinda. He will be long-remembered for his devotion to the Sacred Heart. Frank is survived by his nieces, Maureen Gantick, Doreen Lyon; and nephew, Mark Masinda; several great-nieces and nephews; and a large extended family in Connecticut. Even in her death, she continues to have an effect on others through her organ donation. She retired from the NLRB in New York City in 2010 and began a new journey in retirement with her loving husband, Lou, in Sun City Center. Rita was a member of the Sun City Center Masters Swimmers, the Aquasizers, The Purple Butterflies Red Hat Society, and a board member and tutor for The Hope Fund of Wimauma. Rita leaves behind her devoted husband, Louis; a daughter, Adrienne and her daughter, Megan; a son, Louie and (Glenda), their children, Antonio Adriana; sister, Catherine Tonelli; a brother, Ermie (Jean) Cuzzi; several nieces nephews.
